These five tips can make your women’s suit store into a customer magnet.

Tip #1

You should display a suit in a store window using a backdrop that your customers can relate to. Add on accessories to the display that they can relate to, so that customers can imagine themselves wearing the suit.

Tip #2

Have a friendly greeter standing outside your shop holding a tray of warm food. She can then invite people inside as they eat the food that she is giving out.

As a wholesaler that supplies wholesale suits to wholesalers, boutiques, eBay sellers, and other resellers, I often encounter a focused mindset. Resellers want only the brands that they themselves are already familiar with. While this conservative approach to your business can help you enjoy stable sales, it will not give you the potential of exploding your sales, along with your bottom line.

If you really want the opportunity to grow your business to the next level, you need to step out of your comfort zone and start carrying a more extensive line of designers.

For example, most of my customers ask me for Tahari suits, and while women do love Tahari, there are many more brands which they either buy, or would be willing to buy, if the stores that they shop at carried them.

If you have visited a shop in the United States, you are probably already familiar with how popular suits by Jones New York, Kasper, Anne Klein, Nine West, and Calvin Klein are.

Many of my international customers have reported positive results when introducing some of the above mentioned brands to their local customers.

One of the reasons why expanding your brand selection is so effective is because you will be standing out from your local competition. Your shop will draw shopper’s interest when it has apparel otherwise not locally available.

And once you are the only vendor for a specific designer in your city, you can pretty much set the price at the highest level that your customers can afford it at.

These Innovative Ideas Can Explode Sales of Your Wholesale Suits for Women

As a wholesaler for women’s suits, I have gained some interesting insights into how suits are traditionally sold, and how they could be sold better. For example, while most suits are sold according to size, many women will need a different sized blazer than the matching skirt is, and vice versa.

If you want to better cater towards your shoppers, you should offer wholesale suit separates, this way you will give women the ability to actually have the right sized clothing as their individual requirements are.

Another innovative method for increasing your sales is to search for new styles which you can introduce into your market. Will it be a new design introduced by Sahar Atif, a Pakistani fashion designer? Or how about carrying 1950’s knit style suits?

You can take an entirely different approach such as sponsoring a woman’s night out as EWOT did. You can even have the night out right at your boutique, just keep it fun, without any blatant sales pitches. Once they come to have fun at your shop, they will naturally check out your wholesale merchandise.

Unfortunately there is a still a wide disparity between what professional men and women earn, so you might want to remind your shoppers how the unfortunate reality is that they will need every tool at their disposal to advance, and that tool can be your Tahari and Jones New York suit selection.
