The primary question any retailer should always ask herself is, “Would she shop at her own boutique?”
If you would feel comfortable, and excited, to buy corporate suits from your shop, then chances are that your store will appeal to other women as well.
If you want an objective appraisal, invite some of your friends to your shop and see if they buy a suit from you. If they do walk out of your store with a brand new Tahari office suit, then you know your store is set up the right way.
Because while your friends will flatter you, they will only take out their wallets and spend their money if you have a good combination of a good layout, high quality suits, and great prices.
