The best scenario would be to buy wholesale brand name suits in a style that is similar to the current one, but that option might not always be viable, especially if your wholesale clothing sources are limited.
I personally would always lean towards purchasing brand name designer labels over current styles, since I have seen over and over again that people prefer having an authentic branded suit, even if it's from a previous season.
The one important thing to keep in mind is that you need to know your customer. If your customer for instance is an accountant in Abuja, Nigeria she will want a specific type of suit, and the same goes for women working in corporate and government jobs from the Bahamas to Trinidad to Kenya.
